Rebuilding the Workplace: From Burnout to Balance

Burnout is as American as apple pie, baseball, and the 4th of July. People are not exhausted or burned out because they haven't done enough yoga, set strong enough boundaries, or have bought the wrong candles. They’re burned out because America has programmed us all to be. We can break the programming and design both a sustainable life and a work culture that works to foster balance and allows everyone to thrive. Culture is made through the decisions and actions of everyone who lives in that culture. So, if we all want to be less burned out and more balanced, we can be. It’s difficult but not impossible -— and most importantly, it’s doable.
