What Is A Peer Mentoring Group?

A peer mentoring group meets regularly (approximately once a month) via a virtual platform. Discussion centers around specific topical areas of talent development.

Who Leads The Discussion?

Discussion is informal. Everyone shares knowledge and experiences. Each group has a volunteer "conversation catalyst" who helps coordinate and start the conversation. If you are interested in becoming a conversation catalyst or would like more information on becoming one in the future, please let us know!

What Are The Topical Groups?

The next round of groups will begin in April 2025 and run through November 2025.

  • Training Delivery and Facilitation: This peer mentoring group will be a collaborative space for members to refine their skills and knowledge about leading effective training sessions. Participants will share best practices, offer feedback, and discuss creating and facilitating engaging and impactful learning experiences. Learn from others about techniques for delivering content, managing group dynamics, and adapting to different learning styles.
  • Career Pathing and Leadership Development: The Career Pathing and Leadership Development peer mentoring group topics will range from fostering employee growth, leadership development best-practices, employee skill development, and fostering long-term organizational success. Learn from others about how they are mapping out clear opportunities for employees to grow within an organization based on their skills, interests, and business needs. Come together to discuss structured development plans, training, and mentorship that help employees advance in their careers.
  • Data and Measurement: The Data and Measurement peer mentoring group will focus on topics of analytics, data, and measurement. Members in this group will explore best practices for collecting, interpreting, and applying data to drive informed decisions. Learn from others about key metrics, evaluation methods, and tools to measure learner progress and program impact.
