Community Of Practice (COP) Leading Change

New in 2025, ND ATD is adding Community of Practice (COP) quarterly meetings to our event calendar. Register to attend the first meet-up of the Leading Change COP hosted by Kristi Schultz.

Change is one of life’s few constants, yet it often feels overwhelming, uncertain, or maybe exciting. Whether it’s a personal journey or a career shift, transitions impact every aspect of our lives. But how do we navigate these moments? What strategies enable us to adapt? How do transitions shape our identity, relationships, and perspectives?

Join us in person as we explore how transitions affect us. This will be a space to share your experiences, learn from others, and discover practical ways to navigate the challenges and opportunities that change brings. Together, we’ll reflect on how transitions can inspire growth, build resilience, and lead to unexpected opportunities.

COP Leader: Kristi Schultz, Sr. Learning & Development Specialist at Border States

As a child, Kristi Schultz, dreamed of becoming a cheerleader.  When told it wasn’t a profession, she refused to let that deter her.  Instead, she has worked hard in every role she’s held, determined to embody the spirit of a cheerleader in every way possible—lifting others up, inspiring positivity, and championing those around her.

Kristi is a devoted and compassionate individual with an unwavering passion for empowering others to reach their personal and professional goals. She firmly believes in the boundless potential within every person and blends empathy, expertise, and dedication to help individuals unlock their greatest capabilities.

As a mentor, coach, and advocate, Kristi has supported countless individuals through their growth journeys, providing practical tools, personalized strategies, and motivational guidance tailored to their unique needs. Whether helping others advance in their careers or navigate personal development, Kristi creates meaningful connections that foster confidence, clarity, and lasting success.

In her free time, Kristi enjoys reading, volunteering, exploring innovative ways to make a difference, and cherishing moments with her grandchildren. Her life’s work reflects her heartfelt belief that helping others succeed is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling endeavors.
