We will explore the business benefits of diversity and inclusion, and how to build a culture that utilizes diversity and inclusion as a strategy that benefits both the team members and the organization.

Presenter: 

James Whirlwind Soldier

Goldmark Property Management

James Whirlwind Soldier is a Sicangu Lakotah currently living with his wife and four dogs in Moorhead, Minnesota. He earned an undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Sociology, and recently completed his MBA.

James is a member of the Chamber’s Professionals of Color Steering Committee, the YWCA’s Racial Justice Committee, the Community Workforce Inclusion Council, and the TrainND Advisory Board.

Currently, James works for Goldmark Property Management, specializing in Employee Relations and Community Outreach. He develops training around Diversity and Inclusion issues, actively recruits from marginalized communities, and strives every day to be the person his dogs think he is.
