Webinar Best Practices: Keeping Your Audience Engaged (Bismarck)

Webinars, as a virtual training or presentation format, are all the rage. A webinar allows for a large number of attendees to participate from individualized locations at the same time. If presented live, the webinar allows for interaction with attendees much like an in person classroom would include. Webinars can also be recorded, allowing someone who misses a session the ability to access content later or for an attendee to review at another time.

But not every webinar is a well done webinar. If the attendees are tuned out, the chances of them remembering or using the information shared are little to none. This session will share tips and tricks for keeping attendees engaged during the webinar format, tips and tricks for effective webinars and best practices to turn that dull webinar into one where attendees sit up and take notice.

Wade Carlin is a Talent Development Consultant at Noridian Healthcare Solutions, LLC in Fargo, North Dakota. He began his career at Noridian in 2013 and has held several positions including Operations Coordinator and Provider Outreach and Education Representative. His team is responsible for the company LMS, new employee orientation, and recording and editing instructional and other video productions. He has a degree from Missouri State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology online through the University of North Dakota.

We are unable to issue refunds any later than that time and date. If you are unable to attend, you may send someone in your place. Substitution names received later than 24 hours prior to the event may not be listed on the registration list. No shows will be billed.
