Leadership Development: Lessons Learned
with Angela Kiesz
Amazon lists more than 60,000 books on leadership. Learning what leadership is, how to lead, how to develop other leaders and how to build training for developing leaders can be overwhelming. Angela Kiesz, Capital Credit Union's first learning & development leader, will share her experiences designing and leading a robust internal leadership program. She'll briefly cover the design process, her experience with facilitating it, and the surprising outcomes of the program, as she shares keys to getting the impact you want out of leadership development in your organization.
Angela Kiesz, Learning and Development Coordinator at Capital Credit Union, has served in the credit union movement at CCU for almost 8 years. She has been in the company's first Learning and Development role, for half that time. Kiesz oversees organizational wide programs in leadership, ongoing education, service, orientation/onboarding, and online learning tracks for front line staff. Kiesz is a DDI certified facilitator, a participant in the BAI Emerging Leader Network, and the VP of Outstate and Virtual Programming for ND ATD where she has also been a member for 4 years. She lives in Bismarck with her wonderful husband and three fabulous kids.
