LEARNING MYTHS (Fargo)
As learning and development professionals, we make some assumptions about how we can best help people learn. But many of these assumptions are really considered myths. How much of the brain do we really use? Do learning styles impact learning performance? Can left brain or right brain dominance explain individual differences among learners? What about the 70-20-10 model?
This session will explore some of the most popular learning myths, why they continue to persist, and what research says about them.
