Leading From Any Seat
Our ability to positively impact and lead those around us is much more than a position or title may lead us to believe. We all have the opportunity to exercise leadership each and every day whether we sit at the front desk, in the corner office, or in a cubicle next to the water cooler. This session will explore three factors that, when implemented, will allow you to increase your leadership capacity and begin to make a greater difference in your organization immediately, no matter your position. Jess Almlie, leadership development manager at Discovery Benefits, will help attendees to assess their current skills and create a personalized action plan for immediate implementation upon return to the workplace.
The strategies in this presentation can be used to improve individual leadership capacity, to empower those who report to you, and as a guide for talent development programming.
