Networking is second only to client recommendations and referrals as the most economical and effective method to reaching more clients. As with any activity, taking the first step – introducing yourself to a total stranger – is challenging and maybe even a little scary. It isn’t hard but if it makes you shake in your boots, it is easy to procrastinate and seek out people you already know. While it’s good to connect with people you know, the point is to increase the number of people you know. In this session, you will learn techniques that will help make networking more comfortable even for the most reserved as well as how to incorporate networking into your day-to-day life.
