Come learn timely measurement strategies to align training with business goals from Jay Kasdan, Project/Account Manager at Fredrickson Communication.

As training professionals, we are often asked by our stakeholders “How do we know if our training is effective?” Surprisingly most training and measurement strategies often fail before they get started because of poor design and limited understanding of goals of training and measurement in the workplace.

The ability to develop an effective measurement strategy starts with aligning the strategy with the business goals of the organization. This session will enable participants to effectively measure training by all four Kirkpatrick levels and unlock the potential of training and measurement strategies to drive results in critical company initiatives.

Top four learning objectives or outcomes of the presentation, one sentence each.

Must align to a valid workplace application. Can be articulated as knowledge acquired, skills gained, attitudes changed.

  • 1.       State the most important question when developing training.

  • 2.       Identify which phase(s) of ADDIE the measurement strategy should be determined.

  • 3.       Explain why level two and three measurements often fail.

  • 4.       How to use the Business Initiative Questionnaire in the workplace.
